Welcome to Yorkshire fishing handmade pole floats. I have spruced up the place a little. There are few changes most notably a minimum order of 10 floats. I will add a section so you can order variations of floats in multiples of 2 with a minimum of 10 in total. I will let you know when then feature is available. For now you can just contact me and request your variation of floats using the product code found in each float ad. I no longer sell my floats on eBay dew to the cost which I would have to pass onto the customer, so I sell them here were I can keep costs to a minimum.
About my Hand made pole floats.
Allot of time goes into my pole floats, in fact 4 to 5 days work on each pole float. All my floats are genuinely made by hand. There are lot of sellers claiming that there floats are handmade on eBay but the sad truth is they have never seen a hand apart from packing and are in fact imported from abroad. One particular seller on eBay knows this and knows I know who they are. Hence they sell them cheap as chips and basically you’re getting just that "cheap".
Each of my floats are spun in my own lath, assembled with my own hands, and painted with my own paint brushes each and every single time. Every single float I make is unique to its self as every piece of balsa is unique to itself. I weigh each and every float to make sure they meet my tolerance.
I will say that I don’t build my pole floats as fashion statements and glamour models. I build them to do a job, a good job. So my handmade pole floats don’t come with fancy patterns done on machines. If you need fancy patterns I can't help you.
The whole process of making my pole floats is unique to me.
My paint is unique, my adhesive is unique to me and even the way I turn some of my pole floats is unique to me. That’s why you will never see one a like else were. So when I pop my clogs they go with me to. :)
I make no excuses for my floats looking bland and consider any float I sell and post out as fit for the job. I would not post it otherwise. If this is something you disagree with then please do not buy from me. I will only make exceptions to this rule if there damaged in the post but then this is very unlikely as I use high pressure water pipe to post them in.
All floats are made to order and take 4 - 5 days before they are safe to be sent. I won’t rush the process and release inferior products. All postage is a flat rate of £1.20 regardless of quantity. You can contact me to arrange special delivery and so on. PayPal is accepted and other payment means can be arranged.
